Allotment Competition

The Capital Burgesses would like to encourage and recognise the efforts of the allotment holders cultivating and planting plots at Harpers Lane, Foxley Road and Roundmead allotment sites – this will include flowers, vegetables and soft fruit.

The competition will involve a regular monitoring of the plots between Spring to Autumn with the winner being notified by post and the result announced in the Michaelmas Court meeting on 29th September and confirmed on the September invoice.

The winner and runner up will be selected by a group of Capital Burgesses and because of this any Capital Burgess allotment holder will not be considered. Last year’s winner and runner up cannot be considered in this year’s competition.

There will be two prize awarded.

• A first prize of £50s worth of garden vouchers.
• A second prize of £25 worth of garden vouchers

No entry fee is required.
