Warden & Freemen of Malmesbury Annual Prize

The Warden & Freemen of Malmesbury will be once again offering two prizes of £1000 to Malmesbury School students who will be continuing their studies at university in September.

You will be required to write an essay of 1200 words (word processed) about ‘Why you have chosen your university course and what use you intend to make of it when you have graduated’. Entries should be made once your university placement is confirmed and before the closing date of Thursday 9th September. The essays will be judged by a panel made up of school staff and members of The Warden & Freemen of Malmesbury.

Your entry should be attached to the cover sheet that will be provided with your results in August and returned to the office of The Warden & Freemen of Malmesbury at the above address.

The winners will be notified by the end of October. It is hoped that the presentation of the prizes can be made at the Presentation Evening 

If you are taking a gap year you will be eligible to enter next year. Details will be available from the school at this time 2022.
